Triangle Farm
Concord, Massachusetts
A large addition with a wrap-around porch was built, preserving the façade of this historic home. This not only added space for a new kitchen and family room, but it also provided more natural light. To tie the two spaces together the existing rooms were updated with new finishes, which were used throughout the house. The kitchen is a true gathering space for the family and features milk paint finishes and an island with a salvaged wood countertop.“One of the challenges with building an addition to a historic home like this is to make everything fit together so it feels like the new space has always been a part of the home.”
